Concept of Energy

There is no substitute for energy to survive. Because with the help of energy, we can move from one place to another. We can do various things with the help of energy. That is, the ability to do something is called energy. And this power can be of different types. For example, static and kinetic energy. Static energy remains constant. And kinetic energy is in motion. For example, a bicycle is at rest when it is stationary, but when it is pedaled, it is converted into kinetic energy. Such different energies exist in the world that are transforming from one form to another.

Another example can be said: we eat rice; this rice gives us energy to work. In other words, we get our work strength from rice. Rice contains various types of calories that provide energy for our bodies. Through two examples, we understand that energy is the ability to do work. And we get this power from different mediums. For example, solar energy, electric energy, nuclear energy, etc.

What is Energy?

In terms of physics, energy is the ability of an object or person to do work. The unit of energy is the joule.

Types of Energy

In terms of physics, energy is the ability of an object or person to do work. The unit of energy is the joule. Energy can be divided into two parts: static and kinetic energy.

1) Potential energy:

The energy that remains in a static state is called static energy. Usually, this energy is in a fixed state in an object or person.

2) Kinetic energy:

Energy that is in motion is called kinetic energy. Usually, this energy exists in a state of motion in an object or person.

Concept of kinetic energy

We usually recognize this kinetic energy as a simple example of energy. In the language of physics, if an object of mass m moves with speed v, then its kinetic energy will be E.

Kinetic energy (E) =
Here E = kinetic energy.
m = mass
V = speed of an object or person

The unit of kinetic energy, or work, is the same. i.e., kinetic energy and the unit joule of work. In the example above, we saw the example of the bicycle, where the bicycle had kinetic energy when it was at rest, but when a force was applied to it, kinetic energy was being developed.
We see various types of car accidents on the road, which is an example of kinetic energy. Because when the car is in motion, there is kinetic energy in it. And when a car crashes, it hits the other car with all its momentum, resulting in tremendous force. So, when the car collides, the kinetic energy is doubled, and the speed of the two cars will be quadrupled. Because the velocity continues to double. Again, when we hit a fixed wall, the kinetic energy will double. Because the walls are stationary. There is no speed in it. That’s why when we hit a stationary object or person, the velocity will increase twice.
